Welcome to Hope Lutheran Church. No matter what your reason or how you found us, you are welcome here! Our congregation is a community of believers in Christ whose purpose is to share God’s love and forgiveness through worship, education, support, and service.
Worship
God has been gathering and leading His people in worship since the dawn of creation. Seemingly limitless allowances of styles, sounds, and liturgies have been assembled to bring thanks, praise, and honor to our God. He has given us the tools of music and creativity, in coordination with the means of His Grace, to be gathered, forgiven, strengthened, and sent.
We offer a variety of services to fit your needs.
Our Traditional service (Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 a.m.) uses music and liturgies from the Lutheran Service Book. Music is led on an organ with occasional choir, wind ensemble or brass accompaniment.
Our 10:41 a.m. Sunday PRAISE 1041 Contemporary service incorporates nontraditional songs and liturgies. The music is led by a band and vocal team with the atmosphere more relaxed in nature.
During the seasons of Advent and Lent, our Wednesday services follow a seasonal theme.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third weekend of the month.
Family Friendly
Your entire family is welcome to worship with us. Our Nursery, located near the Narthex, provides parents a space to view live feeds of Sunday sermons while they watch over their little ones.
Sunday School provides an opportunity for children four years old through 5th grade to learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. Each week's lesson includes a Bible story and fun activities that go along with the lesson. Middle school students, grades 6-8, attend Catechism courses in their journey to be confirmed in their Christian faith. Education opportunities for our high schoolers continue through our Youth Ministry classes. Sunday School, Catechism, and Youth Ministry classes are 9:10 -10:25 a.m. each Sunday; September through May.
Fellowship
Adult Bible study class is great way to learn God’s word while getting to know members of the church. It is a totally relaxed atmosphere with no prior knowledge required. All that is required is your presence. Our adult bible study is 9:15 a.m. each Sunday in the Fellowship Hall.
The Café Corner, located in the Narthex, is another great place to meet church members. Coffee, juice and assorted baked goods are provided each Sunday. Members chat about a variety of topics in a relaxed atmosphere. Â
